Another 40 x 30cm egg tempera painting. This one a pause for thought on the past week’s sketches: time passing, set against the soft stillness of the sketch made by the rain on the 4th. It’s a contemplative painting that invites you to soften and rest your eyes a while … at least this is the way it speaks to me. In an increasingly hectic world, meditative pauses are very welcome.
