I tried using just burnt umber and paynes grey. Really happy with the outcome on wood panel. Finally I may have found a solution for making black and white (or monotone) paintings. Looking forward to further experiments and loving how these forms take on the appearnace of bones and rocks. The opportunity for pareidolia is high with these too. I can see an elephant. I'm almost delirious with excitement!
