A desatured oil painting from 2019 when I was privileged to have a great studio. I'm promising myself to have a studio again in 2025. It's an essential component of who I am and I'm a bit lost without the complexities involved in creating large abstract paintings. The infinite possibilities, colour, form, texture, pattern, rationale and favoured aesthetics. The process is often convoluted and difficult to figure out. Then there's the question of 'why'. I've decided this question is best met with the proverbial 'why not?'
