A quickly executed oil on board. As fleeting as the skies. This was just a playful underpainting but the spontaneity has captured the dynamics of the coast where I live. Much of my work is simply an experiment, a marking of the day, a playful response. I haven't made work to sell but as a form of self-development and intrigue. This piece is a case in point and this will no doubt sit in my studio and eventually end up in the loft or under a piece of furniture
