Came across this doodle made a few years ago while I was working part-time as a switchboard operator for the NHS. I'd doodle between calls. It was the only thing getting me through those awful shifts. Looking back through around 120 sketchbooks I am reminded how drawing often catches the essence of 'something', even if you don't know at the time what the 'something' actually is
