Another oil painting from 2019, again desatured. Seeing things in greyscale highlights the structural components. Things are becoming clearer. This is the painting style closest to my psyche. I like to photograph the weather, the skies, the sea but painting them is completely unsatisfying and pointless for me. The challenges of abstraction holds rewards like no other form of painting.
