Another photogram. Aside from the abstract nature of these (a deliberate focus), it interests me that a photographic process generally yields a negative or digital file that can be printed over and over again, whereas a photogram is a one-off. In this respect it is relatable to an original painting. I think it's the uniqueness of a photogram that is appealing. Rather like people. Every single one unrepeatable and unique. Looking through my archive today, I realise also how drawn I am to photographs of people; of our shared humanity.
