Another experiment using the cyanotype photographic process. This time to see how successful the process would be in picking up the very subtle aspects of a scene. Today the reflected clouds along a shoreline at low tide, along with the soft billowy edges of clouds. I am astonished to see how well this has turned out. Despite being happy with this print, I’m going to push it a little further for tomorrow’s image by soaking the print in strong tea overnight. Sometimes we have to let go of the things we love in order to move forwards, even if at a later date we come to realise it wasn’t such a good idea after all. The most important outcome is learning. Mistakes offer such valuable lessons
